• March 2, 2009 - Due to some problems with the host, Elanthipedia experienced a bit of a downtime yesterday evening and this morning. I have done upgrades to the MediaWiki software as well as important extensions. The problem seems to have been corrected. I have noticed a few issues with some pages such as items, titles, and even basic tables. I will be working with Caraamon to get the issues fixed as soon as possible. The wiki is up for browsing and basic edits, though. Many apologies for the downtime. ~ Naeya

• November 7, 2008 - I'm experimenting with a Google search. This will probably provide better search results than the current wiki search (it also includes all pages by default, not just in the Main namespace (good for searching items, armor, etc). If you notice any problems with the search function, let me know on my talk page please. Thanks! ~ Naeya
• November 4, 2008 - Ok, so I lied about the 7k article count. After running some much needed maintenance scripts, the site should be a lot faster though! Oh... and don't forget to VOTE! ~ Naeya

• November 3, 2008 - The MediaWiki upgrade went smoothly. We're now running version 1.13.2. If you look at Special:SpecialPages you'll see a new look to that area. If anyone notices anything odd, report it in the Town Green or on my talk page. - Naeya

• June 28, 2008 - As part of our move towards Semantic Wiki, I have deleted most of the item-based categories. For more information, please see Category_talk:Items.

• June 17, 2008 - Changes are being made to the various item templates for semantic wiki support. Please check before using them.

• June 17, 2008 - Well folks. After an unexpected but necessary server move, Elanthipedia is safe and sound on her new server. If possible, please report any noticeable problems in the Technical Green. I'll be posting a few more details about the move there. ~Naeya
• June 12, 2008 - As you may have noticed, we had stopped the item move due to technical problems with the new namespaces (AKA I don't know as much as I thought I did). Hang in there, we'll get it done or die trying (famous last words, yay!) -Caraamon
• June 12, 2008 - Fairly soon we will be moving in game item pages to new namespaces (i.e. Item:, Armor:, Weapon:, Shield:). This will almost certainly cause some link confusion at first, but Caraamon will be working day and night (or when he feels like it) to make sure everything gets fixed. So this begs the question, "Why bother?" Despite the massive headache it will cause, it will allow some nifty tricks to be implimented once we fully switch to the SemanticWiki "stuff."
• June 11, 2008 - All item templates are created, except for the PC created item template. In addition, they had automatic links to the forms that make editing them easier. Take a look and feel free to post any suggestions or comments.
• April 15, 2008 - Welcome new sysop, Caraamon. He'll be tidying up things a bit around the wiki.

• January 18, 2008 - Annnnd we're back! Sorry about the downtime folks. Had some server complications. The wiki will be taken down in ~7 hours for a brief update. This downtime should only be about 5-10 minutes. Sorry for any inconveniences.
• January 1, 2008 - To mark the new year, our 5,000th article was created today by Yamcer. You can view that article here: Multi-armed Devourer. Let's keep up the momentum and make 2008 a great year!

• December 24, 2007 - Chris's Mass Festival of 2007 is here! Visit the festival today.
• December 15, 2007 - Elanthipedia is nearing its 5,000th article! The wiki has grown so much over this last year, and it's thanks to contributors like YOU! Keep up the excellent work! ~ The Admins
