Description

A first glance, a flaming dinnsehencha appears to be an ordinary horse, but a second look reveals flickering flames in place of the mane and tail. A brilliant red coat compliments the ruby-red hooves.

Three Varieties

  • Burning
  • Flaming
  • Blazing

  • Judging from initial reaction, I do not believe these are much above 750 in natural attacking, but their magic abilities seem to exceed that abit. -- Dullen
  • Entrance is the arch east of the door to firecats in upper Hib. The passageway goes to the premium ara. (note will remove when maps are updated)
  • Seem to be glitchy in the fact that they can not attack, or cast magic while laying down (barbarian avalanche in this case).
  • Good Perception, unable to hide even at missle at 750 ranks of Stealth buffed to around 900.

Recall

You remember from your reading that dinnsehenchas are a type of fae, associated with fire and horses. Generally they appear as small horses with flaming manes and tails, but revert to their true form when they die.

Tales are told of how larger dinnsehenchas that can shift at will between their horse form and their humanoid form. Thus far, such stories have never been confirmed by scholars, though.

Special Attacks

  • A flaming tentacle lashes at you!

With practiced ease, you position a small puffy-white shield to take the fiery blast.

The flames of the flaming dinnsehencha's mane and tail flare as she begins preparing a spell!

  • A burning dinnsehencha rears up on her hind legs and strikes powerfully at you with her front hooves!

You expertly duck the flaming hooves but can't help to feel the heat as they fly by.

  • A burning dinnsehencha stamps the ground, her fiery mane flaring as a ball of flame forms!.

Surrounded by a nimbus of scarlet-orange light, a tiny ball of flame flies at you! You manage to avoid the raging ball of fire, as it explodes behind you! A volley of fiery shards explode outward toward a blazing dinnsehencha! a blazing dinnsehencha blocks one of the shards of fire with her fae-enchanted hide. A volley of fiery shards explode outward toward a burning dinnsehencha! The shard of fire glances off a burning dinnsehencha's fae-enchanted hide. The fire shard glances off her chest, singeing it a little. A volley of fiery shards explode outward toward a flaming dinnsehencha!
