Crafting shovel

A shovel is a crafting tool used both in the various metalworking techniques (Blacksmithing, Weaponsmithing, and Armorsmithing), as well as the mining process that fuels them.

Usage

In forging, it is used to move coal into the fires that are used to work metal. This is done by PUSHing the fuel with the shovel.
It is also one of the two tools used to extract materials from the rock (the other being the pickaxe). In a room that you can successfully PROSPECT, simply hold the shovel in one hand and MINE.

Shovels can be created using techniques that fall under the Blacksmithing discipline.

Likewise, their repair falls under the same skills, with standard processes for metal tool repair.

Shovels use material hardness to derive their effectiveness.

(Low carbon steel was used for the durability cap, and high carbon steel was used for speed cap.)
