A flying carpet allows the rider to bypass ordinary climbing and swimming checks. The carpet can only reach destinations that are accessible by foot, so it cannot be used to cross the sea. Carpets will follow you around as long as you are in a room where getting on a mount is possible. If it can't follow you, it will go to the pet storage room until you can be followed, to prevent it getting deleted by the room unloading.

These are considered to be "rare items" and have thus far been limited to auctions, raffles and microtransaction event loot.
