suit of steel mail
Look: Each polished steel ring has been closed with a tiny faceted rivet, which was gilded to add sparkle against the darker mesh. The rings are small enough to result in a fine texture that seems to flow like rich fabric, belying the armor's true weight. At the left shoulder is a small medallion engraved with the crest of the Bard's Guild. The entire suit proclaims wealth, from the superior craftsmanship to the conceit of precious metal trimming what should be a utilitarian possession.
