Running along the length of the sash is the painstakingly detailed image of a kingsnake with its head curling back toward its body, a harp cradled in the crook of its neck. The lighter and darker bands of the snake's body are mimicked by slightly darker bands of coloring along the sash itself, causing the fabric to resemble rising and falling dunes of sand.
