			'''Ysaye''' is a [[human]] [[moon mage\|lunar mage]]. She likes plush toys, tousle-haired warrior mages, and learning things she oughtn't. She's in her late teens and hates her freckles.

			==Overview - Common Knowledge==

			Ysaye was born in a small fishing village at a cove somewhere southeast of [[Acenamacra]] to a fisherman and his wife. She grew up happy and loved, kept busy by helping to care for her two younger twin brothers and doing other sundry things around the house. About half a year after her father's death in an unexpected storm that destroyed his fishing vessel, Ysaye set off for somewhere with more opportunities so she could send money home and keep her family from starving. It's been almost two years now, and she still sends money to them every week via courier - she wishes her mother would just relocate somewhere closer to civilization, but that's about as likely as one of the moons vanishing from the sky.

			After spending awhile in the Crossing, Ysaye decided the quieter pace of Shard suited her better, and she's rented a small apartment for herself in the Golden Phoenix Inn to use when she's not meditating in the Garden of Light. She's devoted to her studies of lunar magic, and is really not ignoring you if she's staring at the sky instead of at you during a conversation. She's an apprentice of [[Lasciel]], and tries her best not to embarrass her teacher by getting herself incinerated in the Ways.
