Matted dark hair frames a face that is gaunt and drawn, with pasty-grey skin pulled taunt over protruding cheekbones. A wickedly inflamed scar extends from just above her right eyebrow to deep within her hairline. Another jagged scar, swollen red, mars her left cheek.
