			Every DR player should back up their settings once a month, or at least a few times a year.

			DO THIS EVEN IF YOU SAVE YOUR STORMFRONT SETTINGS ON THE SERVER.

			BACKING UP STORMFRONT FILES
			To create a back up file you need to export all your settings as an XML file.
			1) In StormFront go to Options -> Settings -> Export
			2) Everything will be checked to export by default. It doesn't hurt to back up everything!
			3) The default file name and directory is C:\StormFront.xml However, I personally like to name the files like "Zamara6292016Backup". This is useful because it has the character name, the date, and the word Backup so I don't confuse it with any regular files.
			For people who use StormFront and have multiple characters, you need to do this on every character.
			Then email the file or folder to yourself if you have decent email storage, or use Google Drive (it's free) and put the file there.

			BACKING UP GENIE FILES
			1) To do this, open your Genie data folder. You can find this folder by opening your Genie window, opening the File menu, and choosing "Open User Data Directory." By default, this folder is located at: %AppData%\Genie Client 3\
			If you don't know how to find the AppData folder, use Windows key + R to open the RUN dialog. Enter "%appdata%" and hit OK.
			On most versions of Windows this will be in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\StormFront\DR
			Username will be your windows log in name.
			2) Create a folder called BackupSettings. To do this, go to the File menu and choose New -> Folder.
			3) Copy the following folders, and paste them into the BackupSettings folder: Config, Maps, Plugins, Scripts, and Sounds.
			If you plan on doing multiple back up folders, you can add the date to the folder name.
			Then email the folder to yourself if you have decent email storage, or use Google Drive (it's free) and put the file there.

			STORE IT ON GOOGLE DRIVE
			1) Go to https://www.google.com/drive/
			2) Log in with your gmail account if you aren't already signed in. Don't have one? Gmail is free just make one.
			3) Click "New" and select "File Upload".
			If you are uploading a StormFront file, browse and select it.
			If you are uploading genie settings, you can select and upload the whole backup folder.
			4) After it uploads, the file or folder will be listed in "My Drive". You can right click on it to manage the file (download it, rename it, delete it, etc).

			You now have a back up and should be safe from any HDD or computer loss, or corrupted configurations.

			HELP I LOST MY STORMFRONT SETTINGS
			If all or some of your StormFront settings are missing, and you have access to a computer that you have logged in that character before try the following. StormFront keeps a local copy of much of your settings, INCLUDING when you have it set to store them on the server.
			If this doesn't work please try contacting techhelp@simutronics.com

			1) Use Windows key + R to open the RUN dialog. Enter "%appdata%" and hit OK that should take you to a list of folders.
			2) Locate the StormFront folder.
			3) Depending on the instance your character is in, open that folder. DR for DR Prime. DRX for Platnium. DRF for the Fallen. DRT for Test.
			On most versions of Windows this will be in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\StormFront\DR
			Username will be your windows log in name.
			4) In that folder, there will hopefully be .xml files with names that are various numbers. The files are not named or sorted by character. If you have no files, contact techhelp at the email above.
			5) Sort the files by date, since the more recent ones will be the ones you want to check first.
			6) Open a file with notepad or notepad++. You can do this by right clicking on the file, going to Open With and select Notepad. (You can also use Internet Explorer, but I find that it's search abilities are limited.)

			7) Search through the settings file for your missing scripts. Scripts will be towards the end of the file. If they are not in the first one you check, keep looking in more files.
			If you can't find the right file, you may want to try the steps for CHECKING WINDOWS SHADOW COPY FILES FOR LOST STORMFRONT SETTINGS
			8) Once you find the right .xml file, copy it to your desktop.
			9) In StormFront, go to Options -> Settings -> Import browse and locate the file on your desktop, and then select the settings you want to import from the file.
			10) Importing the settings may take a minute if you are importing a lot of data. Please be patient and give the program a few minutes, if necessary.
			11) Once the import is done, go look under options and check your scripts/highlights/ignores are there.
			If anything is missing, try other files.
			12) Please go make a backup file once you have restored your settings.

			CHECKING WINDOWS SHADOW COPY FILES FOR LOST STORMFRONT SETTINGS
			You MAY be able to check for previous versions of your XML files in the instructions listed above, depending on how your Windows is set up.
			Basically, on any file you can right click it, go to properties, and then it will list previous versions of that file windows still has.
			1) Right click on an XML file and go to Properties.
			2) Go to the Previous Versions tab.
			If there's nothing listed, either there are no previous versions or you may not have this feature of Windows enabled.
			3) Select the previous version you want to check, then copy it to another place on your computer. Your desktop will work.
			4) Repeat as necessary until you hopefully find all your settings.
