	Trader Tindle's shop in Crossing -- Tindle's Weapons, Ores, and More -- reflects his obsession with hacking on rocks in a never-ending search for rare metals. It's not that he thinks they're pretty. They're just worth a lot of money, especially when somebody makes top-notch weapons out of them, and he's keen on money.

	Upon returning to the Realms with his family after a ten-year voyage so far beyond the Barrier that he returned from the other direction, he has dedicated himself to acquiring the finer things and traveling throughout Elanthia. While not anti-social, he's not particularly social, driven by the pursuits of business and the matter-of-fact completion of a fair deal.

I'm good with that, and I'm always willing to refer you to another merchant who might have what's better for you today. Maybe you'll come back to my shop tomorrow, and I'd rather have treated you right previously."
