==Description==
Come in moss-haired, bark-scaled, and leaf-winged varieties.

A myriad of exotic bark-textured scales frames the angular face of the dragonesque thornkin, highlighting high cheekbones, a pointed chin, and striking gold eyes with vertical pupils. More rough scales cover his limbs and torso, while translucent, leaf-veined wings extend gracefully from his back, their edges subtly jagged like the thorns of a wild briar. A spiky swathe of mossy hair partially obscures pointed ears and tapers down the creature's back like a leonine mane. A sinuous tail, armored in keeled scales, tapers to black-green spikes tipped with a streak of crimson.

==Recall==
At home in deep forest, thornkin are lithe, reptilian-featured beings with scale-masked faces, membranous wings, and sinuous tails tipped in dark shadethorn spikes. Their golden slit-pupil eyes shift in hue with their mercurial moods, mirroring their ever-changing temperaments. Deeply attuned to the wild, they command the natural world with an unsettling ease, their presence often heralded by rustling leaves and the quiet hum of unseen forces.

The moss-haired thornkin are known to cast the [[Embed the Cycle]], [[River in the Sky]], and [[Devitalize]] spells.

They are known to carry loot in locked boxes.

With a sibilant exhalation and a flash of scales, a leaf-winged thornkin lashes his serpentine tail in a wide arc.<br>
The thornkin rakes across your abdomen with some dark shadethorn spikes in an electrifying swipe to land a heavy (8/23) strike.

Appears to require being at melee. Also poisons the area hit.
