It's possible that it's not meant for physical destruction, if it's preparing some sort of magical effect, but that still leaves plenty of unpleasant possibilities." I was feeling poorly at the time, so I was not able to take notes with my usual ability, but I did manage to find another hole in the colossus's leg to climb into, and once again set about with other adventurers in the task of dismantling the construct from within. When the job was completed, it liquified into a frozen lightning bolt in the sky in the same manner as the previous colossus.
