			The combat lines above are examples of different outcomes; pronouns referring to the opponent follow that opponent.

			* War Stomp's opening leap varies by the Barbarian's race. See [[War stomp#Racial Jump Messages\|War Stomp's racial jump messages]].
			* The attack line always describes a right or left foot. Its adjective can change with footwear; attested forms include <tt>armored</tt>, <tt>booted</tt>, <tt>bare</tt> and no adjective.
			* Defense, damage, balance and roundtime lines depend on the combat result. If the first attack kills the target, the second attack does not occur.

			==Restrictions==
			* Directional stomping respects normal movement restrictions and exits. While lying down, the command responds, <tt>You can't do that while lying down.</tt>
