These semi-intelligent bat-winged creatures still inhabit Sorrow's Reach and attack any hapless adventurer to wander into the area, but not without some warning. Often they throw stones from the shadows and make chittering sounds. There are two types of S'lai: [[S'lai_Screamer\|Screamers]] and [[S'lai_Scout\|Scouts]].

	The former is named for the piercing screech it bellows after killing a victim. Anyone living in the room is stunned by the sound. The scouts are far easier to combat, but tend to scamper away from a fight and favor ranged weapons.
