It was done to insure that whatever went wrong doesn&#039;t result in unintended item loss or (in the old days) {{PRel|Death|walking}} due to a potential bug. It doesn&#039;t happen often, but it can happen. In other words, it is a failsafe should the depart system detect anything abnormal.
