It's still valid {{PRel|Magic Theory|conceptually}}, but we're downplaying the resistance human beings have to no more than the nominal resistance mana has propagating through matter.

In context, Lunar mana runs at about half effectiveness if it is being transmitted through the entire bulk of Elanthia.
