Gently she placed her hand on his arm, closing her gold-flecked eyes she focused her will to ease his pain, bracing herself while stretching her senses along the link with this warrior, ~~she~~ slowly lost the boundary between him and her, until she felt his body as if it were her own. Her empathic senses stretched out, forming a link so intense that her breathing slowed almost to a stop. Abruptly, the boundary between her and her wounded patient dissolves completely, and for a few dizzying moments they seemed to have occupied the same flesh. As she concentrated, drawing their shared pain and suffering towards herself, attempting to imbue him with her holistic well being. After a blurred moment, the link broke, her nerves singing with pain as his wounds became her own. He smiled at her and nodded his head slightly in gratitude, he muttered thanks and slipped a handful of gold coins into her hand. She glanced down at the shiny coins in her hand and then looked up to protest the tip, only to find him gone. She scanned the area for the man with the crystal blue eyes, "Leilanie..." she heard her named called in the distance.
