Janeros has pointed ears and cat-slitted gold eyes. His red mane is short and thick, and is worn pulled back on one side by a set of blue-gold beads and left to flow over the shoulders. He has rust-colored fur and a slender tail. 
He is tall for a Prydaen. 
He is young for a Prydaen. 
He is in good shape.

He is holding a nightmare-black bone banded at both ends with a ring of steel in his right hand. 
He is wearing a white gold necklace strung with gleaming ivory fangs, a cobraskin sheath wrapped with leather ties in a criss-cross pattern, a brown canvas backpack embroidered with the image of a crouching mountain lion, a silvery grey swordsman's shirt with full sleeves and laced cuffs, some gleaming silver plate etched with a charging lion, a pair of burgundy leather trousers with black piping on the seams and some deep ebony leather boots with engraved silver toe caps.
