The hollow token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Not being such a mage, you're fairly certain you couldn't activate such a device.

Were the hollow token to be activated, the following modifications to a servant would be made:
Base Description: "an emaciated Shadow Servant"
Long Description: "an emaciated Shadow Servant with hollow eyes"
LOOK Description: "The creature of darkness gazes hungrily at its surroundings."

These are compatible with the scroll system for alterations. You must use this item as the base when you GET your scroll if you wish to have it altered.

The hollow token is commonly used to modify the appearance of a Moon Mage's shadow servant. Being such a mage with knowledge of the spell, you could INVOKE the hollow token to reshape the shadows that form your servant. The changes would take affect at its next summoning.

Base Description: "an emaciated Shadow Servant"
Long Description: "an emaciated Shadow Servant with hollow eyes"
LOOK Description: "The creature of darkness gazes hungrily at its surroundings."
