As the embroidery becomes increasingly sparse then terminates upon the top of the overlapping panels that create the rest of the garment, a subtle shift in the fabric's lustre is the only decoration remaining. The soft matte finish provides what appears to be a diffuse halo of lighter coloration that clings to the surface in a thin layer.
