Suddenly an amethyst-inset silver spellbook key pops out of the lock mechanism with a distinct *click*, landing in your left hand.

Suddenly the two halves begin to coil together like living vines over the front of the book, blossoming open to reveal the two halves of the amethyst jadice flower intermingled, locking the spellbook shut.
