			Another wave of pulsating blue-green luminescence surges past you, and the island shakes once more! A faint haze appears along the ground.

			The island rumbles once again, and a flock of sea birds explode upward, scattering as some fly for the mainland, others for the northeastern islands, and others still for the leviathan. Rising in a cloud of confused calls, they scatter. The ground glows with a faint purple haze as faint motes of light rise to the sky.

			An almost overwhelming sensation of connectivity surges over you, and for the support and efforts towards the Trickling Sun, you feel a fleeting kindled spark flicker within. You are keenly aware of all the living creatures around you, and feel the whispered feelings of your fellow adventurers. The ancient and almost alien mind of the flying Zemmunhu roars in anger, and you feel a growing empty presence approaching from deep beneath in the ocean!

The whale is bound in a comfortable harness of sharkskin leather padded with seasilk, and a long trailing wraps around a massive container studded with tightly wrapped balloons to maintain neutral buoyancy. As they reach a comfortable position, the Merelew teamsters stop the whale and detach its load. They begin inflating additional balloons on the container to float it to the surface, where a large oared tug awaits. Chatting with the Elven crew, the Merelew return to the depths with oilskin wrapped packages of lumber, foodstuffs, and metals. Coiling the long stipe around your chest, you pare the blades from its bladder, separating the oily leaves into a loose weave satchel. After a short period of time, you have an impressive haul, and swim for the edge of the forest. A pair of dolphins play in a small clearing, chasing one another and occasionally tossing a starfish back and forth. They approach you, gently batting and softly nibbling on your arms, and together, you swim for deeper waters. As you scan the area, your enhanced vision highlights subtle details -- the gentle disturbances of nearly invisible creatures trying to remain unseen, the minuscule drift of tiny whales singing overhead, and gradients in the water column that are not physical. Your flippers and sides glide along magical torrents, energized gyres and bends that shift and flow with their own rules and physics, and with a joyful undulation and twist, you spiral down into the abyss, deeper and deeper. As the red sand burns, a stream of hissing molten metal flows along a mold, forming a panoply of curious gearwork and parts. As the metal cools, a hooded figure leans forward checking the work, revealing three wavy lines tattooed below his gills. The vision fades.
