	‘Helei' is 'wife' in Ilithic. Helei leather is the name given to the result of any leather processed in one of the two main traditional ways of the Snow Clan of Elves (see also smoi leather). When the helei process is used, the resultant leather takes on a rigid, glassy appearance despite not losing any of the malleability expected in a leather.
