Ghost-tin came into existence the same way many unexpected, yet useful things are - by necessity and need.

When a trio of brothers found themselves trapped deep within the Dragon Spine Mountains down an undocumented mine shaft in search of treasure. Their hustle to find quick rewards, however, proved foolhardy, as the tunnel unexpectedly collapsed behind them - leaving them trapped in a large open cavern that revealed itself only to contain tin and a thin crevasse near the ceiling that allowed air to flow into the room.

Unfortunately, the tools they brought were too worn to break through the cavern walls, and their food supplies were low, so they knew they'd have to break out if they wanted to survive. With naught but tin around them to replace their tools, they started to make attempts at hardening the metal so they could dig their way out. After a multitude of attempts, they were able to process the tin with magic to create a new variant that was significantly stronger, enough to chip through walls. Surprisingly, the process also bleached out most of the stone's opacity and color, leaving it semi-translucent with dark shadows within the white/clear metal.

===Common Description===
Unlike normal tin, ghost-tin only comes in shades of white, and the metal is only semi-opaque, allowing some light to pass through its shadowed translucence.
