			Its effects are beautiful and potentially lethal. A gaharzen is activated, hurled into an adjacent area and shatters shortly afterward. Jagged moon-hued shrapnel shards will lodge themselves into anyone standing in the affected area. Tending these shards out is incredibly difficult and usually results in severe wounds, but they will disintegrate if touched. At the height of their use, Votaries and Scions would detonate lodged gaharzen shards by casting [[Dazzle]] while they were still lodged in their victims, causing usually fatal injuries.
	Its effects are beautiful, and potentially lethal. It appears as if the gaharzen itself flies into a designated area, and then shatters upon command. Shards of light, red and silvery blue, fling themselves into any and possibly all of the occupants of that area.

	Do NOT tend yourself if injured by this device! Merely touch the shards to make them disappear. And work quickly. A cast of [[Dazzle]] will explode the embedded shards, dramatically increasing the injuries sustained.

	Research is currently underway to determine if there is a way to undermine, if not utterly avoid damage from this device.
