Standing as tall as a Gor&#039;Tog, with long slender arms and legs, nothing can be seen within the outline of this strange being. The silhouette billows with strange no-color fumes, blown in random, shifting directions as if caught in a strong wind, and it casts about with malevolent intent.<br /> <br /> ==Recall==<br /> Torn from Urrem&#039;tier&#039;s Void -- the final plunge into which all souls fall -- the Essence of the Depths is called but not controlled by the priests and priestesses of Euldath. Death is their conduit, and reversion to the Void is what they seek, a return to their amorphous state, in the destruction of all in view. The rules of this plane, of any plane, is anathema to their being, as they are creatures that dwell in primordial spiritual abeyance, neither the beginning nor end of what may be.<br /> <br /> Unable to sustain the entirety of itself into a singular form, the Essence has manifested a portion of its being in the form of several fragments, which hover in a loose semi-circle around the Essence. Each fragment exudes wisps of broken lines and dripping grey smoke, and appears to have taken on a characteristic of the Plane of Abiding -- polished, hardened, flowing, icy, fiery, and electrified -- each corresponding to a means of surviving this Plane.<br /> <br /> ==Death Messaging==<br /> Convulsing with rapid jerking movements, the Essence of the Depths falls to the ground and begins to dissipate, featureless black droplets rising into the air and hissing as they evaporate.<br /> <br /> ==Decay Messaging==<br /> The Essence of the Depths erupts with featureless black smoke, dispersed in a tight, writhing twister that gradually disperses and fades.<br /> <br /> ==General Messaging==<br /> With a disorienting flicker, an Essence of the Depths squares off with &lt;player&gt; and spreads its spindly arms in challenge! &lt;i&gt;(On advancing)&lt;/i&gt;<br /> <br /> ==Notes==<br /> Summoned by [[Voidgazer]] priests.</div>
