*Reduces incoming damage by a percentage, similar to armor Protection. Against physical forms of damage (Puncture, Impact, Slice), in addition to Protection there is also an Absorption analog: if the damage is sufficiently low, it will be removed completely.
*Appears in caster {{com|LOOK}} as: <Caster>'s body is wreathed in a bizarre series of whitened ridges, several gleaming with a malevolent black radiance at any given moment.
