			They cause [[vitality]] damage over time, slowly getting bigger until they are fully gorged, then they fall off and slither away. The ''black'' versions do have a significant "hit" to your vitality compared to the nearby [[Red sand leech]]es. For example, with 80 [[Stamina]] and 12+ leeches, your health can drop to nearly 85% after one "pulse". Getting a feeling for the vitality hit against your stamina in this area would be wise before allowing multiple leeches to build up.<br />
