'''Story of Thornrot'''
:Thornrot grew up to be a [[bone elf]]. He learned of their ways and customs for several years until he became an adult. It was his mothers and fathers wishes that he travel to Crossing and learn a skill which didn't include necromancy. It was a long and arduous trip from a forgotten island. Upon arrival he met Malsaphis. For awhile they spoke and Thornrot began riding alongside his caravan. Being unable to connect with the guilds and the temptation to locate the necromancers rising, he made a rushed decision, and joined the Trader guild.

:He was mentored by his newfound friend until he understood the basics of leading a caravan and delivering cargo. This was fulfilling at first but the task became dull and repetitive. For awhile, he regretted the decision, until he learned that work orders could be filled from forging and granted him the opportunity to practice trading. Thornrot never imagined that he would become a Trader and forger. Furthermore he began to crave wealth and gold.

:Sometimes, he finds himself brooding in dark places for seemingly no apparent reason at all. Reflecting back on the days when he would explore the inner workings of creatures and learn to carve them in a ritualistic manner. Wondering if someday these were things he would do to a corpse which once possessed feet rather than hooves or paws.

:Now he has cleaned up and is adjusting to life in Crossing and outlaying lands. Sometimes people don't understand how Thornrot got his name. To ease tensions, he paid a skilled Empath to make him appear to be an elf of Crossing, so as to not appear intimidating. Now he struggles to adapt and find inner peace.
