Contributions are eagerly encouraged. If you have solid data that you wish to add, simply update the chart, or post your findings on the discussion page.

The ranks required reflect not only raw [[Outdoorsmanship skill]], but also [[Perception skill|Perception]]. While the exact level that perception affects the skill is not yet known, please be advised that due to the inclusion of the perception skill, these numbers can never be exact.

Furthermore, [[Ranger]]s appear to have a bonus to foraging, and in certain areas, some items are more rare and therefore harder to find. The best way to know if your contribution as a ranger will be accurate is to use [[Forage command|<tt>FORAGE CAREFUL</tt>]] to find the item. If the roundtime is 15 seconds and you are able to find the item, it's likely that you're at least vaguely in the experience range.

The Northern Watch is a light infantry brigade commissioned as a part of the Royal Infantry of Therengia, under His Lordship, Baron [[Gyfford]] Theren. While serving the whole of Therengia, The Northern Watch maintains its base in [[Therenborough]]. The brigade has recently been reactivated under the command of Ternith Sjomah by order of the Baron on December 18, 2015. 
 
Originally founded under the guidance of the honorable Sir Madigan, the Northern Watch has progressed over the years to become the mobile, self-supported infantry brigade it is today. Contributing to its fabled history are former commanders Marsais, [[Jerid]], Jayrbee, Frodes, and [[Lyathe]]. The brigade is comprised of The Royal Vanguard Combat Group and The Royal Medical Corps.

Membership in the Northern Watch requires an unparalleled devotion to your land, its people, and your comrades. Its members exhibit devout loyalty, placing the safety of their land before their own. 

Our training efforts will be focused on developing a strong intel unit, battlefield triage unit, as well as multiple hostile response and containment squads. This is our passion and motivation as well as what we as a brigade will strive to offer His Grace and the Therengian Citizens. 

We are actively seeking those that call Therengia home and or have a passion to server and protect the Baron and the citizens. This brigade is not for everyone, but for those that share in this passion and are willing to be part of a tight knit group, train hard, and challenge not only yourself but others...the Northern Watch might be what you've been seeking.

You are slightly under average height for a Prydaen. 
A group of amethyst slivers float lazily around your right forearm, glowing with a lustrous sheen against your fur. 
You appear to be a scar-bearer. 
Your forearm has a tattoo of a childish Prydaen dancing amid a field of zombies.

As of December 18, 2015 by the old calendar, Baron Gyfford granted Ternith the responsibility of Commanding the [[Northern Watch Brigade]]. The Northern Watch was comprised of The Royal Vangaurd and The Royal Medical Corps. Both groups were brought together by Madigan. The focus of this group is to be an elite defensive brigade, service our Grace, Baron Gyfford, and the citizens of Therengia. It will continue the course that Madigan set in motion and strive to achieve effective results as a self sustaining mobile brigade. 

He as served the [[Theren Guard]] under numerous positions throughout his lifetime and most recently was on the Council as the Military Officer. Through his dedication the Northern Watch has been reanimated and is proudly working alongside the Theren Guard to preserve and the beloved way of life in Therengia under Baron Gyfford, in addition to strengthening the community. 

Besides his tireless passion for training and bringing the best of the community together, he also holds the forge stamp of IronFang Weapon Works. His crafted items bear the image of a hulking mountain encircled by the words, "Ironfang Weapon Works." Ternith's stamp is one of the oldest in Elanthia and his crafted items can be purchased from merchants throughout the realms.

==The Northern Watch Brigade==
<big>"Deeds Above Words."</big>

The Northern Watch is a light infantry brigade commissioned as a part of the Royal Infantry of Therengia, under His Lordship, Baron [[Gyfford]] Theren. While serving the whole of Therengia, The Northern Watch maintains its base in [[Therenborough]]. The brigade has recently been reactivated under the command of Ternith Sjomah by order of the Baron on December 18, 2015. 
 
Originally founded under the guidance of the honorable Sir [[Madigan]], the Northern Watch has progressed over the years to become the mobile, self-supported infantry brigade it is today. Contributing to its fabled history are former commanders [[Marsais]], [[Jerid]], [[Jayrbee]], [[Frodes]], and [[Lyathe]]. The brigade is comprised of The Royal Vanguard Combat Group and The Royal Medical Corps. 

==Membership==
Membership in the Northern Watch requires an unparalleled devotion to your land, its people, and your comrades. Its members exhibit devout loyalty, placing the safety of their land before their own. 

Our training efforts will be focused on developing a strong intel unit, battlefield triage unit, as well as multiple hostile response and containment squads. This is our passion and motivation as well as what we as a brigade will strive to offer His Grace and the Therengian Citizens. 

We are actively seeking those that call Therengia home and or have a passion to server and protect the Baron and the citizens. This brigade is not for everyone, but for those that share in this passion and are willing to be part of a tight knit group, train hard, and challenge not only yourself but others...the Northern Watch might be what you've been seeking.

==The Northern Watch Brigade==

The Northern Watch is a light infantry brigade commissioned as a part of the Royal Infantry of Therengia, under His Lordship, Baron [[Gyfford]] Theren. While serving the whole of Therengia, The Northern Watch maintains its base in [[Therenborough]]. The brigade has recently been reactivated under the command of Ternith Sjomah by order of the Baron on December 18, 2015. 
 
Originally founded under the guidance of the honorable Sir [[Madigan]], the Northern Watch has progressed over the years to become the mobile, self-supported infantry brigade it is today. Contributing to its fabled history are former commanders [[Marsais]], [[Jerid]], [[Jayrbee]], [[Frodes]], and [[Lyathe]]. The brigade is comprised of The Royal Vanguard Combat Group and The Royal Medical Corps. 

==Membership==
Membership in the Northern Watch requires an unparalleled devotion to your land, its people, and your comrades. Its members exhibit devout loyalty, placing the safety of their land before their own. 

Our training efforts will be focused on developing a strong intel unit, battlefield triage unit, as well as multiple hostile response and containment squads. This is our passion and motivation as well as what we as a brigade will strive to offer His Grace and the Therengian Citizens. 

We are actively seeking those that call Therengia home and or have a passion to server and protect the Baron and the citizens. This brigade is not for everyone, but for those that share in this passion and are willing to be part of a tight knit group, train hard, and challenge not only yourself but others...the Northern Watch might be what you've been seeking. 

You may seek more details on the events team or other positions by sending a thought directly to Ternith. Necromancers and those that speak ill of Baron Gyfford and or Therengia need not apply.

The fighting elite, this unit excels at all forms of combat. Frequent training activities (including hunts and strategy games) are coordinated with Support and allow the Northern Watch Combat unit to be ready for any situation.

*Special Response Officer: Maximhus 

===The Royal Medical Corps===
Made up of healers, priests and other support guilds, this unit is responsible for the health and well-being of the entire brigade as well as others fighting alongside the Watch.

In order to become a member, new recruits participate in a comprehensive set of core classes including basic group combat, basic triage, a history of the brigade, and an overview of the current chain of command and its protocols. Membership is earned upon successful completion of the Watch's traditional "Running of the Gauntlet," where recruits are required to demonstrate an understanding of their lessons alongside fellow recruits. After successful completion the Gauntlet, members decide how their skills will be best utilized by joining either the Combat or Support group. 
*Minimum Circle Requirement: None
