Greetings to you, dear reader.

I return to you rested and filled with purpose, for as the Immortals and Heralds decide the fate of the universe in the skies above us, we mere mortals must accept our own destiny here together.

And I must say, based on recent behavior it seems some of you are hoping your destiny involves filling my pages! Accusations fly in all directions regarding the identity of this humble writer, but I assure you, most would do well to worry less about who I am and more about whom they keep close. 
We begin our review in Therengia, where the local theater's first production in ages was... the re-staging of a previous performance. While the cast performed admirably, one cannot help but note the play itself was repetitive and the attendance lacking. The highly-lauded fashionista behind the scenes often charms audiences at events across other provinces, but perhaps she should refocus on the province of her employment. With such a coveted position, falling from that lofty a height would be quite embarrassing. 
Some hearts remain colder than the peaks of Asketi's Mount, and one must wonder if a chill has overtaken a particular Prydaen Cleric. What else could have led her to spurn the sweet affections of admirers by leaving their candy grams to wither on the floor? Perhaps she was snacking on sour grapes instead, for her tongue thawed long enough to dismiss one of the missing five's concerns with a slanderous insult. This humble writer must conclude that one should hesitate to reject all things sweet, lest only bitterness remains. 
Something must be in the air, as Zoluren is a'flutter with activity. One notes meetings taking place in Crossing for a new militia, to be led by an elementalist of questionable stability and the editor of my personal favorite monthly newsletter (besides my own, of course). A peculiar choice, given that their fearless leader gained a reputation for reckless and, dare I say, selfish behavior after his wife's abduction by the Heralds, while his associate is the Human personification of a cupcake. I, dear reader, am eager to see how this one plays out. 
Rest assured, there are always more whispers to share, but as with anything delicious, we must limit ourselves to fully appreciate its decadence. Greetings to you, reader.

As my identity must remain unknown, you may refer to me as Lady Misuteri. While the Guilded and titled dance together in an exclusive society, certain universal truths remain. Everyone has secrets, which most do not guard as well as they should.

Forgive me this diversion, but as the Heralds stare down on us we must all find ways to amuse ourselves. My choice of amusement, dearest reader, is you.

You will find among these pages rumors, gossip, and anecdotes. Rest assured that although no one is safe from my pen, the missives I share are done in good fun. I will not lie to myself or you by claiming to have the best of intentions, but is not entertainment the highest of callings? 
The current extraplanar crisis seems to bring out new sides of many people. A snarky if stoic Warrior Mage was seen losing his temper at a probability system that has nestled itself in Crossing. A surprising turn of events for a man who has so vocally condemned sorcery. Hopefully this has not damaged any friendships. This writer notes that while brave and heroic, the lanky Elf is a prolific bleeder.

Let us turn our gaze further south, where word on the street has it a certain Northern Watch SGT is harboring a burning heart for Ilithi's snowy rose of a Commander. Some say his interest is far from secret, following a heartfelt poem written in the Lady's honor during her captivity in a Null Prison. One does have to wonder what her husband thinks of the tendre? Perhaps he can tell us from the couch he is rumored to be sleeping on.

To the North, Therengia seems to be buckling under the absence of their illustrious Baron. Despite publicly swearing her fealty to the man during an audience, a certain jouster was heard screaming for the downfall of the province over the gweth during a recent invasion. Oddly her fervor seemed to be regarding the closure of an Order to which she was not a member. And which occurred seven years ago. This writer questions if a history lesson is in order?

Every story is eventually told and it is my pleasure to find the most interesting of these to present to you, my friends. I hope you have enjoyed this first selection of whispers, for there are many more to follow.
