__NOTOC__
Description
The endrus serpent is a leafy amalgam of woody detritus held together by snarls of vines and creepers. Despite its motley composition, the lithe serpent moves with reptilian grace invisible against the surrounding vegetation. Superficially resembling a large snake, this construct is the length of a tall Elf. The creature is constantly changing and reforming, but it tends to have a sinuous, serpentine body. Its maw is crowded with jagged teeth, and its eyes glow with eerie incandescence.

In Depth
These constructs are found down a serpentine path off the Southern Trade Route as it passess through the Endrus forest. They require around 70 ranks to hunt safely and swarm slightly.

They are immune to sleep effects.

Still moving Skinning slowly at 127 ranks, fully arranged.

Recall Knowledge
Level 1: It's a construct, it's made of forest-stuff, and it doesn't seem to like you very much.<br />
Level 2: You recall that the origin of these verdant forest constructs is still shrouded in mystery. Some travelers claim that they are sentinels guarding a hidden fortress, ensuring with deadly single-mindedness that none survive to disturb whoever resides there. Others say that the serpents have been animated by the fell will of the trees and woods, guaranteeing that those who might attempt to bring the axes, fires and saws of 'civilization' can never succeed. Still others believe that the serpents were created as companions for some long-dead mage or wizard.<br />
They are not known to cast any recognized spells.<br />
They are not known to carry loot in locked boxes.<br />

Death Messages
An Endrus serpent jackknifes a few times, then grows still, its body rapidly settling until it is little more than a pile of wood and vine.

The magical tattoo system was released during the Droughtman's Challenge 426 (2018) event. Unlike the common cosmetic tattoos, these limited release designs are imbued with a non-signature spell and can be used by all magic users. Sorcery hazards will apply when casting outside your natural mana type.

You can have only one magical tattoo, but it can be used along side a normal tattoo. Magical tattoos are removed at tattoo shops or with a i.

Use
* APPLY to wear a magical tattoo
* FOCUS TATTOO to check the spell contained in the tattoo and other relative info.
* INVOKE TATTOO to prepare the spell.
:* When invoked with no mana cost specified, <s>an alternate base mana cost native to the tattoo will be used. (confirm 5 or 20 mana base)</s> the spell's base cost will be used (check discussion page to see a paste).
:* Unlimited use and no cooldowns.
:* Will remain with you thru death.

Variations
Removing and Storage
If you have an existing magical tattoo, you can APPLY one of the blank/dirty/etc. inkpots to remove your existing tattoo along with the magical spell and store it in the inkpot. The inkpot will then be stored with the spell that was contained in your tattoo. You can now safely apply a different tattoo if you choose to, however keep in mind there is a 30 RL-day cooldown on reapplying a removed tattoo, so as not to allow people to constantly swap between magical tattoos. These are meant to be a real choice, not something that can be willy nilly swapped like spell scrolls.

Some other things to keep in mind:
* When replacing a previously removed tattoo, the tattoo description for the inkpot will overwrite whatever the previous tattoo was. For example if you have a i that has a tattoo of "trailing silvery-blue sigils", but your old tattoo was "a white hammer covered in verdant runes"... if you store your tattoo in that inkpot the next time you APPLY the tattoo from the inkpot (after 30 days has elapsed) the tattoo will now be "red wavy lines" - the old tattoo is lost.
* Tattoo's bought from other shops and special custom tattoos are not removed when using these. Only tattoos that were applied from the inkpots. If you have a rune tattoo stored in a custom or non-Droughtman's tattoo design only the spell will be stored in the inkpot. Your old tattoo will be safe and secure.

Variations of removal inkpots include:
* i
* i

See Also
* The end loot available during the Droughtman's Challenge 426 had an array of various alternate designs for purchase on the tan easel:
:* These inkpots are empty. Use them to REMOVE your current runic tattoo. When reapplied the inkpot will form the listed tattoos

Apr 26, 2018: DR-GREJUVA confirmed: "20th for Clerics, 30th for Paladins, 40th for others."
http://forums.play.net/forums/DragonRealms/The%20Clerics/General%20Discussions%20~%20Clerics/view/2923

Oct 17, 2017: Question, does anyone know if there's a timer on how often the affiliation title can be granted? I got the "of Everild" on my barbarian then tried on someone else a couple hours later and we were having no luck even though all other requirements were met. We each had 16 favors from Everild that were consecutive and I was high on devotion. The cleric's circle was in the 190's and the other character was about 110th.

Checklist
# The person that wants the title needs at least 15 consecutive favors from the same god of choice as the cleric performing the commune.
#* If you're not sure just check your religion titles and if you have the "Disciple" title then you're good to go.
# The cleric performing Truffenyi's Commune needs at least 10 consecutive favors from the same god as the person receiving.
# The cleric needs to have high devotion.
# Person recieving needs to kneel before the cleric, with the offering in their right hand.
# There's a circle requirement for the person recieving, <s>not sure exactly but I'd venture a guess as around 50th. We found this out from someone else trying to get the post-title and it wasn't happening, we assisted and the GM told us the person was too low circle-wise, the person was 30th so it's higher than that.</s> 20th for Cleric, 30th for Paladins and 40th for everyone else.
#If those conditions are met, then the cleric should perform the Truffenyi Commune on the other player.
#NOTE: There is a cooldown for bestowing the affiliation title, I'm not sure how long but it's more than a few hours. My guess at this point is 24 hours.

-Ozban, 5/15/2015, Immortal post-title

For the post title "of <Immortal>"...
(I moved the info up above into the "checklist" for easier access/reading.)
-I dug this up from an old log, just to get this information out here, too many people ask about it and there's so much conflicting information.

> give mythor
You offer your scorpion bead to Mythorhad, who has 30 seconds to accept the offer. Type CANCEL to prematurely cancel the offer.
>
>
Mythorhad has accepted your offer and is now holding an ebony scorpion bead.
>
>
Mythorhad kneels down before you.

>
> commune truff mythor

>
You pour your faith and devotion into a plea to Truffenyi, an ebony scorpion bead held aloft in your hands.
A faint voice murmurs in your head, ~ "You are heard, Urrem'tier's favored." ~
You grip Mythorhad's wrists and guide him to hold an ebony scorpion bead aloft with both hands as an offering to the divine.

Mythorhad's offering turns to dust and is scattered away in an errant wind. Like a time-reversed, guttering candle, molten glass pools within his palm
and begins to build itself upward. As the creation of a glowing Urrem'tier orb concludes, it pulses once, and his eyes take on a deadened look.

Mythorhad falls down!
Mythorhad's in shock and dying!

The power of Truffenyi has answered your prayer.

>
-The falling down and dying is just Urrem'tier's way of bestowing the favor orb is all, that won't happen with the other gods, and he didn't actually die.

Favor orbs are NOT offerings:
-The following is a log of us trying with a favor orb, the offering has to be something like a bead, that you'd offer on an altar to GET a favor orb.

>
Mythorhad gets a glowing Urrem'tier orb from inside his hitman's backpack.
>
>
The Urrem'tier orb glows faintly in Mythorhad's hand.
>
Mythorhad kneels down.
>
> commune truff mythor
Mythorhad must present his favor orb to the gods on his own.
