Daerlynn was also an early member of the Tavern Troupe Performing Order, eventually becoming Vice Speaker of the Order.<br /> <br /> Her greatest honor was when Baron Gyfford of Therengia traveled to Arthe Dale on a night where Daerlynn was performing at the Inn, and offered her the position of Court Bard of Therengia. She was the first to ever hold this position. The Baron also publicly informed her of the soon to be built Theren Theater, and expected her to use it well. To this day, Daerlynn has a special spot in her heart for the theater in Theren.<br /> <br /> While Court Bard in Theren, Daerlynn continued to run her Arthe Dale concerts. At the same time, she began the Theren Theater Players and, because of the amount of work involved, she took on her first and only apprentice - one with a ton of talent, a willing heart and an affinity for plays - [[Chabelle]]! Eventually, a patron overheard their songs of advertisement and offered to hire the group of young bards to perform at his wedding. The groom simply replied, 'I found them in a Tavern, the Troupe of the Tavern you might say!' Well, lo and behold, the happy group of young bard friends soon had folks inquiring of the 'Troupe of the Taverns' to entertain at their own weddings or parties. They began to wonder how they could find audiences that would enjoy hearing and watching the group perform. The groom simply replied, 'I found them in a Tavern, the Troupe of the Tavern you might say!' This group of friends all enjoyed writing songs and plays, and would sometimes sing them in the streets of Crossing as many bards do, but discovered that the general public didn't seem to share their enjoyment of their performances. They began to wonder how they could find audiences that would enjoy hearing and watching the group perform. Being young bards, they were constantly broke, and lacking of even enough coins to buy their instruments, they also wondered how they would be able to make a living with their bardic talents.&lt;br /&gt;<br /> &lt;br /&gt;<br /> Then, the day came when they met at a Tavern and after much commiserating of their situation, they decided to form a performing troupe. The groom simply replied, 'I found them in a Tavern, the Troupe of the Tavern you might say!'
