Lycette Visenya was born on the 19th day of the 4th month of Shorka the Cobra in the year of the Iron Toad, 352 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer. She grew up outside of Muspar'i, the daughter of a modest merchant and silversmith. She has a younger sister, [[Vivalynn]], who moved to Zoluren shortly after Lycette settled in the Crossing. Upon arriving in Zoluren in 378, a somewhat rebellious Lycette initially joined the Warrior Mage Guild, but after a few short years with little promotion, she decided to follow in her father's footsteps and become a merchant. As the owner of Wicked Witch in the Crossing Trader's Plaza, Lycette has in recent years become a skilled seamstress like her mother, selling her own crafted shields and armor in her shop. She is also the current Treasurer of the [[Order of the Black Fox]]. Lycette is known for hosting auctions in the Crossing Trader's Guild, and has a love of sungold, moonsilver, gowns, and anything shiny.

Boobries are huge flightless heron-like birds, half again as tall as a human. Not content to eat worms and bugs, they prefer stabbing their victims with their vicious beaks. Through them, they suck out the juices, leaving a dried-out husk for the few desperate scavengers that will even approach such a sorry sight. One imagines it to be a very slow and painful death.

Witchbaby Valhalla was born in the 2nd month of Ka'len the Sea Drake in the year of the Silver Unicorn, 329 years after the victory of Lanival the Redeemer. The exact day of her birth is unknown. Raised in Arthe Dale by a carpenter named Kleif and his wife Yvienne, it was rumored that her father had been seduced by a hedge witch in the local tavern one night, and that some months later a newborn babe was found on her father's porch in a make-shift wicker basket. Bearing her father's remarkable sea-green eyes and the witch's thick black hair, her step-mother was by all accounts furious with the living reminder of her husband's infidelity. Yvienne refused to refer to her step-daughter by her proper name, instead referring to her as the "Witch baby". Growing up, the young girl had no siblings and few friends, and neighbors speculated that the mysterious sorceress had cursed Yvienne's womb, making her barren. As a young adult, Witchbaby left home and joined the Warrior Mage Guild, finding a love of both magic and hunting.

Witchbaby was orphaned at the age of 22 when her father was killed during the destruction of [[Sicle Grove]], and she has not spoken to her step-mother since. Three years later, in 354 AV, she met and married Menrion, also a Warrior Mage, and found a home with him and his family. In 389 AV Menrion embarked on a hunting trip that would take him to [[Reshalia]] and eventually [[Hara'jaal]], but the ship was lost and none of the crew or hunting party has been heard from since.

Witchbaby continues to live in the apartment she shared with Menrion, in the Tower South of Crossing, where she has a spectacular view of the [[Segoltha Bay]]. After many years waiting for her husband's return, she now considers herself widowed, but keeps his surname in his memory.
