Where: On a plinth sculpted to resemble a hunchbacked crone, just outside of the First Arachnid Bank within the Massive Arachnid. What: an intricate tyrium hand suspended from a cord of darkly glistening spidersilk (at least when you first get it!) How: Purchase it for a small fee of 1353 copper Dokoras. What does this thing do? The Hand of Glory is a hand-shaped magical necklace. When purchased, the hand can hold 2 of the special stat-boosting rings discussed below. Potency crystal use can increase this to 5. So, with a fully upgraded Hand, a player can use 6 of the special stat-boosting rings! When the Hand is worn, all of the rings on it will activate. However, no more than 2 rings of the same type can be active at the same time. Limited to 1 per character, and bonds upon purchase. Once per RL day, the hand's owner can INVOKE it to randomize its appearance. The hand can not be altered by merchants. The Rings: These boost a single predetermined stat by 1-2, which does stack with other stat bonuses. There's no verb; the rings activate when worn. Only one of these rings can be worn at a time without using a Hand of Glory. The +1 rings are sold for 1000 HE tickets. The +2 rings are sold for 10000 HE tickets. These are found in the ring boxes in the room where the hand is for sale. The rings can also be found in some of the games in the festival! Can be traded between players. The power of the rings will expire in 400 RL days from the time they were created, but can be refreshed by infuser stones. The 'time they were created' is at purchase for ones bought by PCs. Ones won in games may have less active time on them, as they were 'created' at different times. These rings are able to be altered by merchants. -Persida
